MPP Sample Curriculum
MPP SAMPLE COURSE SCHEDULE
The following sample MPP course schedule is based on completing course work in four semesters over a two year time period. This is only a sample as some students may complete courses over three or four years.
Since MPP courses are taken from different departments, course offerings may vary. For example, some courses are offered once a year and others may be offered every other year depending on department schedules and student demand. You may use the degree planning form to help design your curriculum. Please keep in mind that some courses are meant to be taken in a series. For example, students should take Policy Theory and then Policy Analysis. The Quantitative Courses should be completed in this order: Quantitative Methods, Public Policy Research, Policy Evaluation. The reason for taking classes in order is that the faculty works together to build concepts throughout the program.
